Immaculata University is a private Catholic institution sponsored by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The spacious 375-acre campus is located in the town of Immaculata, Pennsylvania, on the Main Line about 20 miles west of Philadelphia. The university has a student faculty ratio of 10 to 1, and nearly 95% of classes have fewer than 30 students. Immaculata offers more than 60 majors, minors and pre-professional certifications for undergraduate students and nine master’s and doctoral programs. Popular areas of study include business administration, nursing and psychology for undergraduates and graduate programs in educational leadership and clinical psychology. Student life on campus is active, with nearly 40 student clubs and organizations as well as an active Greek life. The Immaculata Mighty Macs compete in the NCAA Division III Colonial States Athletic Conference. The university offers 19 men’s and women’s sports as well as several intramural athletic clubs.
