Huston-Tillotson University Description:

Huston-Tillotson University is a private, four-year, historically Black university located on a 23-acre campus in Austin, Texas. HT is affiliated with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the United Methodist Church, and the United Churches of Christ. The university's roughly 900 students are supported by a student/faculty ratio of 13 to 1. Between the university's College of Arts and Sciences and School of Business and Technology, HT offers degree programs in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, science, and technology. Outside of the classroom, students participate in a range of clubs and organizations including the Muse Drama Club/Group, the Ram-nites Dance Team, and the Gentlemen’s Club, as well as Greek Letter organizations. The Huston-TIllotson Rams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Red River Conference with sports including men’s and women’s soccer, basketball, and track and field.
