Hiram College Description:

Located 35 miles southeast of Cleveland, Hiram College is a private liberal arts college whose 110-acre main campus features attractive red-brick buildings. With a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio and average class size of 16, Hiram students often develop close relationships with their professors. Hiram College's calendar works on the "Hiram Plan" -- a 15-week semester divided into a 12-week session and a 3-week session in which students focus on a single class. Hiram College appears in Loren Pope's Colleges That Change Lives, and strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned the school a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. In athletics, the Hiram College Terriers compete in the NCAA, within the Division III North Coast Atlantic Conference. Popular sports include football, baseball, swimming, softball, and track and field.
