Hiram College Description:

Located 35 miles southeast of Cleveland, Hiram College is a private liberal arts college whose 110-acre main campus features attractive red-brick buildings. With a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio and average class size of 16, Hiram students often develop close relationships with their professors. Hiram College's calendar works on the "Hiram Plan" -- a 15-week semester divided into a 12-week session and a 3-week session in which students focus on a single class. Hiram College appears in Loren Pope's Colleges That Change Lives, and strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned the school a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. In athletics, the Hiram College Terriers compete in the NCAA, within the Division III North Coast Atlantic Conference.
