Hawaii Pacific University is a private, four-year university located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The school offers a wide range of majors and programs across a host of academic departments. Professional fields in business and health are most popular among undergraduates. The campus supports its diverse student body with a student / faculty ratio of 14 to 1 and an average class size of fewer than 25. HPU is proud of its diversity, and Open Doors ranked the university 20th in international student population among all master’s level universities in the world. Students are active outside of the classroom, and the campus is home to intramural sports and about 50 student clubs and organizations, including Yoga Club, the Drama Llamas, and a chapter of the Polyglot Toastmasters. For intercollegiate sports, HPU competes in the NCAA Division II Pacific West Conference (PacWest) with sports including men’s and women’s golf, cross country, and tennis.
