Granite State College Description

Granite State College is a public university and part of the University System of New Hampshire. The school's main campus is in Concord, New Hampshire, but the college also has regional centers in Concord, Claremont, Conway, and Rochester. Granite State specializes in adult education: the average age of enrolled students is 36, and the majority of students take classes part-time. The college has extensive online course offerings as well as face-to-face instruction. Granite State offers seven bachelor's degree programs among which behavioral science, business, and an individualized study program are most popular. Many Granite State students transfer in credits, and 18-month bachelor degree programs exist for students who have earned their associate degrees. Academics are supported by a 10 to 1 student/faculty ratio (all faculty are part-time adjunct instructors, most with first-hand knowledge in their fields).
