Graceland University Admissions Overview:

With an acceptance rate of under 50%, Graceland University may seem selective, but the admissions bar is not overly high. Applicants with average standardized test scores and grades in the "B" range or better will have a very good chance of being admitted. Students must have a high school GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) to be considered for admission. To apply, applicants should submit an online application, high school transcripts, and scores from the SAT or ACT. Graceland University Description:

Founded in 1895, Graceland University is a private liberal arts institution affiliated with the Community of Christ (formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). The university's 170-acre main campus is in Lamoni, Iowa, about an hour south of Des Moines. The school also has several online programs and a campus in Independence, Missouri. Graceland students come from 42 states and 34 foreign countries. On the academic front, students can choose from 46 majors and 9 pre-professional programs. Among undergraduates, nursing and elementary education are most popular. Student life is active with over 50 clubs and organizations. In athletics, the Graceland Yellowjackets compete in the NAIA Heart of America Conference. The university fields nine men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports as well as a coed cheer squad. Popular sports include football, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball.
