Goucher College is a private liberal arts college located on a 287-acre campus in Towson, Maryland. Downtown Baltimore is just eight miles away. The college recently opened its $48 million Athenaeum, the new center of student life that houses classrooms, an art gallery, a radio station, a café, a library, and meeting and exercise spaces. With a 10 to 1 student / faculty ratio, Goucher prides itself on the close interaction between faculty and students. The college offers 31 undergraduate majors. For its strong programs in the liberal arts and sciences, Goucher was awarded a chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
