Located in a suburb of Wilmington, Delaware, Goldey-Beacom College is a private, four year regional college with a career-focused curriculum. The 24-acre campus is an easy drive from Philadelphia and Baltimore. Nearly all Goldey-Beacom students major in a business-related field although other majors such as English and Psychology are offered. Goldey-Beacom's 1,600 students are supported by a student / faculty ratio of 26 to 1. All four residence halls have apartment-style suites that house four or five students. The college has fourteen chartered student organizations, and the Goldey-Beacom Lightning compete in the NCAA Division II Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
