Gannon University Description:

Gannon University frequently ranks well among schools in the Northeast. Gannon is a private, Catholic, comprehensive university located in Erie, Pennsylvania. Gannon's undergraduate experience is centered on two programs: "Core of Discovery," the university's core liberal arts curriculum, and "Lifecore," a co-curricular program. Undergraduates can choose from 55 bachelor's degree programs, and programs in the biological and health sciences are particularly popular. Academics are supported by a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The university wins high marks for its value, and the majority of students receive some form of grant aid. On the athletic front, the Gannon Golden Knights compete in the NCAA Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for most sports. The university fields nine men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports.
