Fresno Pacific University Description:

Located on 40 acres in Fresno, California, Fresno Pacific University is a private, four-year, Christian university. FPU supports about 3,400 students with a student/faculty ratio of 14 to 1. The university offers 27 majors in over 60 areas of study across its schools of Business, Natural Sciences, Education, and Humanities, Religion, and Social Sciences. The campus is also home to the Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. Since all students under 21 are required to live on campus, FPU provides a lot of opportunities on the student life front. FPU is home to numerous clubs including the Hat-Trick Club, Longboards United, African Union, and Salsa Club. The university also has plenty of intramurals including Powder Puff Football, Co-ed Ultimate Frisbee, and Ping Pong Tournaments. As for intercollegiate athletics, the FPU Sunbirds compete in the NCAA Division II Pacific West Conference (PacWest) with sports that include men’s and women’s water polo, swimming, and track and field.
