Erskine College is a private Christian liberal arts college affiliated with the Reformed Presbyterian Church. The 90-acre campus is located in the small town of Due West, South Carolina. Biology and business are the most popular fields of study, and academics at Erskine are supported by a 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio. All classes are taught by professors, not graduate students, and the college has a strong placement rate for medical school, law school, and other graduate programs. Erskine's campus features a museum (the Bowie Arts Center) and a large athletic center with two gyms, a weight room, and a climbing wall. In athletics, the Erskine Flying Fleet competes in the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas. The college fields six men's and eight women's intercollegiate teams.
