Elizabethtown College Description:

Elizabethtown College is a small independent college located in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The attractive 200-acre campus in western Lancaster County is a short drive from the state capital of Harrisburg and from Hershey, Pennsylvania, a popular tourist destination. The college’s 19 academic departments offer 53 undergraduate majors and over 90 minors and concentrations. Academics are supported by an average class size of 16 students and a 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The most popular areas of study include business administration, communications, elementary/middle-level education and accounting. Students are highly active on campus, participating in more than 80 clubs and organizations and a variety of student-run media, including a newspaper, literary magazine, and television and radio stations. The Elizabethtown Blue Jays compete in the NCAA Division III MAC Commonwealth Conference.
