East Tennessee State Description:

East Tennessee State University is a public university located in Johnson City, Tennessee, a community nestled among the mountains in the northeast corner of the state. The university is made up of six colleges, and undergraduates can choose from 112 academic programs. Students can also participate in some of ETSU's more than 170 campus organizations, many of which emphasize service and leadership. High achieving student should check out the Honors College both for the opportunity to receive full scholarship support and special academic opportunities. In athletics, the ETSU Buccaneers compete in the NCAA Division I Atlantic Sun Conference. Both men's and women's basketball has met with recent successes.
