East Central University Description:

Located about 90 miles from Oklahoma City, East Central University is a four-year, public university located in Ada, Oklahoma. The school has just under 6,000 students, a student/faculty ratio of 18 to 1, and an average class size of 18. East Central offers a wide range of majors including some online programs, and the university also has an honors program for high achieving students. Student life at East Central is active with many sororities and fraternities, and over 60 student clubs and organizations including shotgun club, which involves recreational and competitive activities. East Central also has diverse intramural sports including pool, foosball, and Xbox tournaments. For intercollegiate athletics, East Central fields six men’s teams and seven women’s sports as a member of the NCAA Division II Great American Conference. They are known as the "Tigers." Popular sports include football, cross country, tennis, softball, and basketball.
