Delaware Valley College Description:

Delaware Valley College is a small, private, multi-disciplinary college located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, 20 miles north of Philadelphia. Academics have a practical focus that prepares students for work in their chosen fields of study. With an average class size of 18 students, DelVal provides students with ready access to their professors, and the college values its personalized learning environment. Many of Delaware Valley's students complete 500 hours of work in their majors during their time at the college, and the school strongly believes that theoretical learning should be accompanied by applied learning. While the college boasts a wide range of fields for students to chose from, it is well-known for its majors in the life sciences, and over half of its students are in those majors. Student life at DelVal is active with numerous clubs, activities, and community service projects. On the athletic front, the DelVal Aggies compete in the NCAA Division III Middle States Athletic Conference.
