Daniel Webster College Description: Daniel Webster College is a small, private, for-profit college located in Nashua, New Hampshire's second-largest city. Established in 1965, as the New England Aeronautical Institute (before transitioning to Daniel Webster College in 1987), the school is located on 50-odd acres, very close to the Nashua airport. The city itself, with a population of 90,000, is a vibrant community. When founded, the college focused almost exclusively on aviation, but the school has since soared into other fields of higher education. Not far from Boston or the seacoast, students of Daniel Webster have numerous recreational and cultural opportunities within easy reach. Daniel Webster academics are supported by small classes and a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio. With a focus on experiential learning, Daniel Webster College’s goal is to to offer their students both the knowledge and hands-on skills they will need after graduation. The school offers 19 BS degrees on campus (with around 10 degrees available online, including an MBA). With rolling admissions, students can apply to Daniel Webster any time during the year. Daniel Webster is a residential campus, and students balance their coursework with participation in a range of clubs and organizations. On the athletic front, the Daniel Webster Eagles compete in the NCAA Division III New England Collegiate Conference for most sports. The college fields eight men's and seven women's intercollegiate sports.
