Daemen College Admissions Overview:

Daemen College has an acceptance rate of 53%, and moderately selective admissions. Admitted students tend to have grades in the "A" and "B" range. Students applying to Daemen don't need to worry about taking the SAT or ACT—the school is test-optional. Interested students can apply through the school's website, with the Common Application (more info below), or with the free Cappex Application. Daemen College Description:

Established in 1947, Daemen College is a private liberal arts college located in Amherst, New York. The small suburban campus sits just outside Buffalo, New York and is within traveling distance of Toronto as well as several of the Great Lakes. Academically, Daemen offers a 14 to 1 student faculty ratio and an average class size of 18. Students can choose from over 50 majors for undergraduates as well as eight graduate programs. Some of the most popular degrees include nursing, natural sciences and childhood education/special education, and the college is nationally recognized for its physician assistant and physical therapy programs. Student life is also very active, with more than 50 academic and special interest clubs and organizations on campus as well as an active Greek life. The Daemen Wildcats compete in several sports in the NCAA Division II East Coast Conference for most sports. Popular choices include soccer, basketball, track and field, and tennis.
