Colorado State University Pueblo Admissions Overview:

Colorado State University in Pueblo is a largely accessible school--over 90% of applicants were admitted in 2015. To apply, students should visit the school's website, where they can fill out an application online. In addition, students should submit scores from either the SAT or ACT--both tests are accepted.

Colorado State University-Pueblo occupies a 275-acre campus on the north side of the city. Colorado Springs is less than an hour to the north, and students will find lots of opportunities for hiking, skiing, boating, climbing, fishing and camping in the region. Outdoor lovers will also enjoy the 300 sunny days of a typical year in Pueblo. CSU-Pueblo has a diverse student body that draws from all 50 states and 23 countries. Students can choose from 31 bachelor's degree programs with business, nursing, and sociology being the most popular. Academics at CSU Pueblo are supported by an 17 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 25. In athletics, the Colorado State University-Pueblo Thunderwolves compete in the NCAA Division II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The university fields seven men's and eight women's intercollegiate sports. Popular sports include basketball, football, soccer, softball, track and field, and swimming.
