Covenant College Description:

Covenant College is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America. The college was founded in 1955 and has a stunning location on top of Lookout Mountain in the northwest corner of Georgia, not far from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The college takes its Presbyterian identity seriously--the school's motto is "In all things Christ preeminent," and all students must be professing Christians. Covenant does well with financial aid, and nearly all students receive grant aid.

Students can choose from over 30 majors--ranging from art and education, to chemistry and journalism. Outside of class, students can take part in a number of student clubs and organizations. With over 50 choices, Covenant's clubs include dance troupes, music ensembles, athletic groups, and language clubs. In organized athletics, the Covenant Scots and Lady Scots compete in the NCAA Division III Great South Athletic Conference.
