College of St. Joseph Description:

The College of St. Joseph is a small, private, Roman Catholic liberal arts college located in Rutland, Vermont. The campus spreads across 117 wooded acres at the edge of the small town in the heart of the Green Mountains, just a short drive from Vermont’s popular Killington Ski Resort. Albany, New York, and Manchester, New Hampshire, are both just over two hours from campus as well. Students receive plenty of personal attention from professors with an average class size of just 9 students and a student faculty ratio of 9 to 1. CSJ offers 28 undergraduate degrees with popular programs in behavioral sciences, business administration, psychology, sports management and English, as well as graduate programs in education, psychology and human services and business. Outside of class, students are active in more than 15 clubs, organizations and intramural sports. The CSJ Fighting Saints compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II within the Yankee Small College Conference.
