Cleveland State University Admissions Overview:

Students with good grades and high test scores have a good chance of being admitted to Cleveland State. Prospective students should have a high school GPA of at least 2.3 (out of 4.0), and they need to submit scores from either the ACT or SAT. In addition, interested students need to fill out an online application, submit high school transcripts, and pay an application fee. While a campus visit and interview are not required, they are strongly encouraged for all applicants.

Located on an 85-acre campus in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, Cleveland State University is an urban public university that offers over 200 fields of study at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Social work, psychology, and professional fields in business, communication and education are all popular. Students come from 32 states and 75 countries. The university has over 200 student organizations including three newspapers, a radio station, and several fraternities and sororities. The school represents an excellent value, even for out-of-state applicants. In athletics, the Cleveland State Vikings compete in the NCAA Division I Horizon League for most sports. Popular ones include swimming, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track and field.
