Cazenovia College Admissions Overview:

Cazenovia College admits the large majority of those who apply. Students are not required to submit scores from the SAT or ACT, but they can choose to do so. In addition to completing an application--applicants can use the Common Application--students must also submit high school transcripts and a letter of recommendation. While not a requirement, prospective students are encouraged to visit and tour the campus and meet with someone from the admissions office. Founded in 1824, Cazenovia College is small college with a focus on both the liberal arts and professional studies. The village of Cazenovia is located just outside of Syracuse in Upstate New York. The historic campus features an art gallery and the historic Catherine Cummings Theatre. Cazenovia students come from 21 states and 3 countries. Students can choose from 26 majors -- business and art and design are particularly popular. Academics are supported by a 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 16. Student life is active with over 50 clubs and organizations. On the athletic front, the Cazenovia College Wildcats compete in the NCAA Division III North Eastern Athletic Conference. The college fields eight women's and seven men's Division III teams.
