Bluefield College is not a highly selective school; the acceptance rate is 85%, and students with good test scores and grades above average are likely to get in. Students are encouraged to visit the campus, and/or to talk with an admissions counselor before applying. Bluefield College Description:

Located just a few feet from the border of West Virginia, Bluefield College is a private liberal arts college in Bluefield, Virginia. The location in the Appalachian Mountains will be a draw for outdoor lovers -- hiking, climbing, caving, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities can be found in the surrounding area. The college is affiliated with the Baptist General Association of Virginia and identifies itself as a Christ-centered learning community. Students can choose from over 20 majors with fields in business, communications, and psychology being the most popular. There are a number of clubs and activites to join, ranging from performing arts groups to religious clubs to service projects to recreational sports. Intercollegiate athletics are also popular at Bluefield, and the Rams compete in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), within the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Popular sports include football, soccer, track and field/cross country, and basketball.
