Bethune-Cookman University Admissions Overview:

Students with good grades and high test scores have a decent shot of being admitted, especially those with extracurricular activities, strong writing skills, and work/volunteer experience. Bethune-Cookman does require scores from either the SAT or ACT as part of the application process--about half of the students applying submit scores from the ACT, and about half from the SAT. As part of the online application, students are asked to write a short essay about Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. Interested students can find more information about the admissions and application process on the school's website, and are encouraged to contact the admissions office with any questions. Campus visits are always encouraged.
