Bethany College Admissions Overview:

Bethany College is an accessible college with 64% of applicants getting accepted in 2016. Students are required to submit scores from either the SAT or ACT. Bethany College is a private institution affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The school's 53-acre campus is located in Lindsborg, Kansas, a small town with a rich Swedish heritage. Salina is 20 minutes to the north, and Wichita is an hour to the south. Members of the campus community are united by five core values: integrity, hospitality, community, servant leadership, and sustainability. The school takes pride in the personal attention students receive, a feature that is supported by small classes and a healthy 11 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Bethany is a residential college with a high level of student involvement. The school offers over 45 student clubs and organizations including a fraternity and sorority system. On the athletic front, the Bethany Swedes compete in the NAIA Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The college fields nine women's and ten men's intercollegiate sports. Popular sports include football, track and field, softball, soccer, and golf.
