Azusa Pacific has a fairly high acceptance rate—around six out of every ten students who apply is accepted to the school. APU does require test scores submitted from either the SAT or ACT—more students, in general, submit SAT scores, although both are accepted equally. Interested students must send in high school transcripts, an application fee, and an online application form. As part of this form, students must write a short personal statement about why they are interested in the school.

Azusa Pacific University Description:

Founded in 1899, Azusa Pacific University is a private, four-year evangelical Christian university located in Azusa, California, a town 26 miles east of Los Angeles. Azusa has a student body of about 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students who are supported by a student/faculty ratio of 13 to 1. The university offers over 100 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs across its schools of Business and Management, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Behavioral and Applied Sciences, Adult and Professional Studies, Theology, Nursing, Education, and Music.
