Florida Atlantic University Description:

With seven locations and over 26,000 students, Florida Atlantic University has come a long way since it first opened its doors in 1964. The main campus is in Boca Raton. Preprofessional programs are the most popular among undergraduates, especially Education and Business. The college community includes people from all 50 states and over 130 countries. The school has an 18 to 1 student / faculty ratio. On the athletic front, the FAU Owls compete in the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. The university sponsors 18 Division I teams and has won 21 conference championships.
