Colorado College Description:
Founded before Colorado was even a state, Colorado College has a rich history of education. The school nearly always finds itself on the lists of top colleges in the United States, and the school has a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Academics at Colorado College are unusual because of the school's "block plan"--students take a single class at a time in short three-and-a-half week semesters. This allows faculty and students to devote all their attention and energy to a single subject at a time. Located in Colorado Springs at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado College's natural environment is breathtaking.
