BGSU, Bowling Green State University, is a public university in Ohio. The 1,338-acre campus is located in the town of Bowling Green, about half an hour south of Toledo. The university has strengths in many academic areas including business, education, and popular culture studies. For its strengths in the liberal arts and sciences, Bowling Green State University was awarded a chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In athletics, most teams of the BGSU Falcons compete in the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference (MAC).
