Midwestern State University Description:

Midwestern State University is a public, four-year college located on 254 acres in Wichita Falls, Texas. The university's roughly 6,000 students are supported by an 18 to 1 student / faculty ratio. MSU offers a total of 45 undergraduate programs between the College of Health and Human Services, Dillard College of Business Administration, Prothro-Yeager College of Humanities and Social Sciences, West College of Education, and College of Science and Mathematics. Midwestern State's graduate program offers 28 degree programs. High achieving students should look into the Honors Pprogram, which provides additional intellectual challenges and scholarship opportunities. MSU students stay involved outside of the classroom as well -- the university has over 100 student clubs and organizations, as well as intramural sports and 14 sororities and fraternities. On the intercollegiate front, the MSU Mustangs compete in the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference (LSC) with 13 teams, including men’s and women’s soccer, tennis, and golf.
