Lindenwood University Description:

Founded in 1827, Lindenwood University is a private, four-year university located on 500 acres in Saint Charles, Missouri. Lindenwood has several other off-site locations including a campus in Belleville, The school has a historical relationship with the Presbyterian Church and has a values-centered curriculum. Lindenwood's main campus serves about 12,000 students who a supported by a student / faculty ratio of 13 to 1. The university offers over 120 graduate and undergraduate degrees in a variety of areas spanning the arts, liberal arts, sciences, and professional fields. Students stay active outside of the classroom through participation in a wide variety of clubs, organizations, and intramural sports including dodge ball, ultimate Frisbee, and Quidditch. Lindenwood also has an active Greek life, including three sororities and six fraternities. When it comes to intercollegiate athletics, the Lindenwood Lions compete in the NCAA Division II Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) with sports including men’s wrestling, women’s ice hockey, and men’s and women’s swimming and diving.
