Wesley College Description:

Wesley College's 50-acre main campus is located in Dover, the capital of Delaware. Founded in 1873, Wesley is a private, non-profit, four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Named after John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, the college nevertheless welcomes students of all faiths. Students can choose from 35 areas of study, and academics are supported by a 17 to 1 student / faculty ratio. High achieving students should check out the Wesley Honors Program for access to special courses, Honors housing, scholarships, travel support and special trips and events. Wesley is a largely residential campus, and 70% of students live in college housing. Campus life is active, and students can choose from over 30 clubs and organizations. The college also provides students with many cultural opportunities in the city, such as the school's partnership with the Schwartz Center for the Arts in downtown Dover. On the athletic front, the Wesley Wolverines compete in the NCAA Division III Capital Athletic Conference for most sports. The college fields 17 intercollegiate sports.
