University of Hawaii - West Oahu Description:

Founded in 1976, the West Oahu branch of the University of Hawaii is located in Kapolei, on the island of Oahu. Academically, the school offers a range of degrees, including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and several certificate programs. Some of the most popular majors include business administration, emergency management, health administration, and early childhood education. With a student / faculty ratio of 11 to 1, the school offers students a personalized and unique learning experience. Outside of the classroom, West Oahu has a lot of clubs and organizations--social activist clubs, gaming groups, and music ensembles are just a few categories of available activities.
