Texas Woman's University Description:

Texas Woman's University is a public, four-year institution in Denton, Texas, with additional locations in Dallas and Houston. The University of North Texas is under two miles away. TWU is the largest women's university in the country (note that some programs do admit men). The university offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees across a wide range of academic fields, and in recent years TWU has expanded its online offerings significantly. Academics are supported by a 17 to 1 student / faculty ratio. In the U.S. News and World Report 2012 Best Colleges issue, TWU was named in the top three in Texas and in the top 10 in the US among colleges with the most diverse student populations. Campus life is active with over 100 student clubs and organizations, as well as an active Greek life. The university also offers intramural sports including dodge ball, indoor volleyball, and Quidditch. The TWU Pioneers compete at the intercollegiate level as a member of the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference (LSC) with sports including soccer, volleyball, and gymnastics.
