SUNY Cobleskill, the common name for the SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill, was founded in 1911 as a School of Agriculture. Located in Cobleskill, New York, the school is about 50 miles east of Albany. Students can earn Associate's and  Bachelor's degrees in a range of fields. Some of the most popular include: Wildlife Science and Management, Education, Business Administration, and Agricultural Sciences. Outside of the classroom, students can join over 40 clubs and organizations, including academic groups, honor societies, recreational athletics, religious organizations, and social groups. On the athletic front, the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers compete in the NCAA Division III, within the North Eastern Athletic Conference. Popular sports include lacrosse, soccer, swimming, basketball, and track and field.
