Post University Description:

Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut, was founded in 1890 but prides itself on being modern and innovative. In fact, Post was the creator of one the country’s first online programs in 1996, and today the school has extensive online offerings. Post is a private, for-profit college that offers evening and night courses along with its traditional and online options. The college has particularly strong programs in the fields of equine management, business administration, accounting, human services, and legal studies. There are roughly 800 students on the main campus, and the student faculty ratio is 15:1 for both graduate and undergraduate students. The average class size for undergraduates is 13, with a maximum of 25. The main campus has a wide selection of student clubs and frequent on-campus activities.  On the athletic front, the Post University Eagles compete in the NCAA Division II Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Popular sports include soccer, basketball, hockey, baseball, and cross country. Post is also only an hour and half away from New York City.
