Founded in 1886, Ouachita Baptist University is a private, four-year Southern Baptist college located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, near DeGray Lake Resort and Hot Springs National Park. Henderson State University borders the OBU campus, and Little Rock is about an hour away. Ouachita is a small college with an individualized focus; students are supported by a healthy 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio.
