Nova Southeastern University Description:

Nova Southeastern University is a rapidly growing, four-year, private university located on a 314-acre campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The school's roughly 27,000 students include a large graduate school population. Students are supported by an 18 to 1 student/faculty ratio, and they can choose from a host of graduate, undergraduate, and professional programs across NSU's 18 colleges and schools. NSU also has plenty of opportunities for off-campus and long-distance learning, including online classes. Students stay engaged on campus, for NSU is home to over 70 student clubs and organizations, active fraternities and sororities, and intramural sports like Badminton, Dominoes, and 8-Ball. On the intercollegiate front, the NSU Sharks compete in the NCAA Division II Sunshine State Conference with sports including men’s and women’s track and field, golf, and swimming and diving. The athletics at NSU have a history of greatness– the women’s golf team has won four championships, the men’s golf team won their first National Title, and the varsity rowing team recently won the NCAA Division II Championship.
