Northwood University Description:

Northwood University is a private, four-year college in Midland, Michigan, with additional locations in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Cedar Hill, Texas. Across its three campuses, Northwood supports its students with an 18 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 18. The university specializes in business fields, and the majority of students major in business administration. High achieving students who are interested in small, challenging, student-centered courses should check out Northwood's Honors Program. For those looking to travel, Northwood has both study abroad and international exchange programs to many places including France, Germany, Romania, Serbia, and others. Northwood boasts over 40 student organizations, 10 fraternities and sororities, and a host of intramural sports. For intercollegiate athletics, Northwood is a member of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The men’s ice hockey team competes separately in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) as a member of the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC).
