Located in Sumter, South Carolina, Morris College is a private, four-year, historically Black, Baptist college. Morris has almost 1,000 students and maintains a student / faculty ratio of 14 to 1. Morris offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Science in Education degrees through its academic divisions of Social Sciences, Education, General Studies, Business Administration, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Religion and Humanities. Morris offers plenty to do on campus, including student clubs and organizations such as Karate Club, Chess Club, and Fencing Club. The college also has fraternities, sororities, and intramurals like Table Tennis, Power-Puff Football, and Billiards and Spades. Morris competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) with sports including men’s and women’s cross country, basketball, and track and field.
