Minnesota State University-Moorehead is a four-year, pubic university located in Moorhead, Minnesota, a small city just outside of Fargo. Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Minneapolis are each about three-and-a-half hours away. MSUM supports a student body of about 8,500 with a student / faculty ratio of 19 to 1 and an average class size of 23. The school offers a total of 76 majors with 172 emphases across the colleges of Arts and Humanities, Business and Industry, Education and Human Services, Social and Natural Sciences, and Graduate Studies. For student engagement outside of the classroom, MSUM is home to numerous of intramural sports, an active Greek life, and over 125 student clubs and organizations, including a Gamer’s Club, an 80’s Club, and the Wildlife Society. The MSUM Dragons compete in the NCAA Division II Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) with 14 varsity sports including women’s swimming and diving, men’s wrestling, and men’s and women’s cross country.
