La Roche College Description:

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, La Roche College was founded in 1963 by the Sister of Divine Providence as a private Catholic college. Currently, with about 1,500 students, and a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio, La Roche offers the balance between a small-school setting within a larger community. Academically, subjects in the medical, technology, sciences, and social sciences are among the most popular. Outside of the classroom, La Roche boasts a number of student-run clubs and organizations, ranging from academic, to cultural, to artistic, to student government. On the athletic front, the Redhawks compete in the NCAA Division III Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
