La Roche College Description:

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, La Roche College was founded in 1963 by the Sister of Divine Providence as a private Catholic college. Currently, with about 1,500 students, and a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio, La Roche offers the balance between a small-school setting within a larger community. Academically, subjects in the medical, technology, sciences, and social sciences are among the most popular. Outside of the classroom, La Roche boasts a number of student-run clubs and organizations, ranging from academic, to cultural, to artistic, to student government. On the athletic front, the Redhawks compete in the NCAA Division III Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. Popular sports include baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, softball, and cross country.
