Bay Path College Admissions Overview:

Students can apply to Bay Path through the Common Application or the free Cappex Application. Students must also submit scores from either the SAT or ACT, and a high school transcript. Supplemental essays and letters of recommendation are optional, but encouraged. With an acceptance rate of 60%, Bay Path is moderately selective; students with good grades and test scores are likely to be admitted to the school.

Bay Path College is a private women's college located in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, a suburb of Springfield. Boston is about 90 minutes away and New York City is two hours to the southwest. The college's curriculum has a career focus, and the college has evolved to cater to a wide range of students. Along with the residential undergraduate women's college, Bay Path has a One-Day-A-Week College designed for busy working women who want to further their educations. The One-Day programs are available on the main Longmeadow campus as well as satellite campuses in Sturbridge and Burlington, Massachusetts. For women who prefer an online learning option, Bay Path is home to the first all-women online degree programs offered through the American Women's College. Bay Path's graduate programs are open to both men and women. The college takes pride in the personal attention its students receive thanks to the school's 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio and average class size of 17. Bay Path students are not limited to the course offerings at the college, for the school is a member of the Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield, a consortium of eight colleges that allow cross-registration as well as sharing of library resources and campus events. Member institutions are American International CollegeElms College, Holyoke Community College, Springfield College, Springfield Technical Community College, Western New England University and Westfield State University. Bay Path students come from 20 states and 10 countries, and the great majority of students receive significant financial aid. On the athletic front, the Bay Path College Wildcats compete in the NCAA Division III New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) with eight sports including basketball, lacrosse, soccer and softball.
