University of Sioux Falls Description

In the early 1880s, a delegation of area Baptist churches chartered an institution of higher learning, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, originally calling it the Dakota College Institute. Throughout the coming years, the school merged with neighboring colleges, lost and regained accreditation, and went through various other changes; the University of Sioux Falls now offers 40 undergraduate degrees and a handful of graduate degrees to its students. Outside of the classroom, students can take part in over 100 student-run clubs and organizations, ranging from the academic to the recreational.
