Southern Nazarene University Description:

Southern Nazarene University is a private, four-year, Christ-centered university located in Bethany, Oklahoma. Founded in 1899, SNU is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. The 40-acre campus is located minutes away from Oklahoma City. The school takes pride in its close-knit learning community, a feature that is supported by a healthy 14 to 1 student / faculty ratio. SNU offers professional bachelor's degree-completion programs, graduate degrees, and undergraduate degrees in 70 areas of study. High achieving students should check out the SNU Honors Program which comes with perks such as priority registration, special courses, access to the Honors Lounge, and a range of research and mentoring opportunities. Campus life at Southern Nazarene is active, and students can choose from over 30 student organizations, as well as intramural and varsity sports including equestrian. The SNU Crimson Storm competes in the NCAA Division II Great American Conference for most sports. SNU is also home to the Morningstar Institute for international development and poverty alleviation training, the SNU School for Children, and the Zig Ziglar Center for Ethical Leadership.
