Rogers State University has gone through several name and administration changes in its history--its roots go as far back as 1909, with the founding of Eastern University Prep School. It was established as a four-year institute of higher learning in 2000. Located in Claremore, Oklahoma, the school also has campuses in Pryor Creek and Bartlesville. Students can earn a Bachelor's degree (from a range of majors; see below for popular choices) or a Master's degree (in Business Administration). On the athletic front, the RSU Hillcats compete in the NCAA Division II--within the Heartland Conference. Popular sports include baseball, basketball, soccer, and golf.
