Ursuline College Description:

Ursuline College, founded in 1871, is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church; the school was started by the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland and was one of the first all-women colleges in the country. Now, Ursuline is co-educational. Located in Pepper Pike, Ohio, Ursuline is only about 13 miles east of downtown Cleveland. Academically, the school offers over 40 majors, with nursing, business administration, general studies, and psychology among the most popular. Academics are supported by an impressive 6 to 1 student/faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students can participate in a number of extra-curricular activities, ranging from academic clubs to recreational sports, to performing arts groups, to religious/faith-based activities and projects. On the athletic front, the Ursuline Arrows compete in the NCAA's Division II, within the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
