Since Bismarck State College has open admissions, anyone has the opportunity to enroll/attend. Bismarck State College Description:

Located in the capital of North Dakota, BSC is the third-largest college in the North Dakota University System, with approximately 4,000 students. Founded in the late 1930s, the college has grown over the years, moving from a high school building to its own campus. In the 1980s, the school became a part of the state's university system; it still mainly offers 2-year degrees. Academics are supported by a healthy 14 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Students can join a number of clubs and activities, ranging from recreational sports to religious groups, from performing arts ensembles to social and academic societies. In athletics, the Bismarck State College Mystics compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) in Region XIII. Other popular sports include soccer, softball, baseball, and golf.
