Concordia University - Nebraska Description:

Established in 1894 by the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod), Concordia University is located in Seward, Nebraska. About 30 miles from Lincoln, Seward is a small town of 7,000. Academically, CU offers a range of Bachelor and Master degrees. Students can choose from over 50 majors, with some of the most popular being in education and social sciences. Academics at Concordia are supported by a healthy 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio. Outside of the classroom, students can participate in a number of clubs and organizations, including a range of music ensembles, academic groups, honor societies, and religious opportunities. On the athletic front, the CU Bulldogs compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) within the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Popular sports include basketball, football, soccer, and tennis.
