The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has 12 member institutions from Middle Atlantic states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. The conference is headquartered at Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania. Until 2008, the conference had been known as the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC). Member schools are all small, private institutions, many with religious affiliations.

Located on a 131-acre campus that includes a small lake, Clarks Summit University (formerly Baptist Bible College) integrates Bible study with all other academic pursuits. Over 90% of undergraduates live on campus, and student life is active with clubs, intramural sports, and daily chapel.
